04 July 2005 Letter from Limburg ~ German Seminar

Hello Everyone

After staying in Hungary I returned to Limburg, Germany, to see my friend Pino Durante. Limburg is a beautiful town about 40 minutes drive from Frankfurt. We had a great time doing a seminar at his dojo.

I caught up with Axel and Steffen who recently visited me in Adelaide in April and I also met many of Pino’s other students.

Pino has just finished building the first full time dojo in Limburg and it’s a fantastic place with a great feeling to it. After this Pino showed me around his part of Germany and one night we drove to meet with Sveneric who was doing another seminar in Germany at the same time. When I met Sveneric, Norman Smithers was with him.

This is one of the great joys of the Bujinkan, that you can travel the world and meet up with friends everywhere. Another night I was invited to teach at the Bujinkan dojo in Hamm which is run by some other friends of mine, Oliver and Gido. They have a great full time dojo in Hamm and I met many of their students. Heinz also came to train and a great night was had by all.

As you can see we had some fun driving on the German autobahn !!!
