12 June 2005 Letter from Germany ~ Buyu Seminar ~ Katlinburg

Hello Everyone

I have just finished four days at the Buyu camp in Katlinburg, Germany, with about 110 Germans. It was another fantastic camp held in an old castle in the country side. I was able to meet many of my friends from last year and met many new friends this year.

There were many German Instructors including Steffen Frolich, Jurgen Bever, Oliver Hein [who has instructed live at the Mansion], Guido Schenkle, Axel Franke, Arnaud from France [who has instructed live at the Mansion], and Brian Duckers from Liverpool in England.

I would like to thank Steffen and Sabine Frolich for inviting me again this year and we have already organized for me to return next year for the final year that the event will be held at the castle in Katlingburg. For anyone who is thinking of attending it is an excellent opportunity to travel to Germany and meet some wonderful people from all over Europe and see the beautiful landscape and cities of Germany. I would highly recommend that if you have ever thought about going to Europe that you put this event on the calendar for next year. At this stage I don't know all the instructors that will be attending but I do know that my very good friend Sveneric Bogsater will be one of the high level of teachers attending and I look forward to teaching and spending time with him at this event next year.

I am currently in Linburg, Germany, which is a beautiful small town outside Frankfurt, with my good friend Pino Durante. He was in Australia four weeks ago and now I am at his house in Linburg and we are having a great time again. Linburg is very beautiful and reminds me a fairytale book with its old houses and churches – these buildings are 1200 years old – its fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be in Budapest, Hungary, in two days time and will be doing a seminar for David Holt and then spending some time looking around Hungary. I hope you are well and hope to hear form you with an update of what you are doing soon.
